what are recruitment outcomes like in tech for international students?

Well all the M7 schools are strong feeder to MBBs. Any school you get in, you’ll have the opportunity to recruit into at least one of the MBBs. Wharton, HBS, and CBS would be the strongest I believe. You can’t sell it that way, though. There are multiple opportunities for internationals but the most common ones are: consulting, PM, PMM, Strategy roles.

How impactful are GPAs for international students (i.e. Southeast asian schools)? I graduated from a top uni in SEA but my gpa is just 3.4 (but I already have 8-year experience in tech)

IB is difficult to crack but not impossible.

I am yet to give my GMAT. I don’t have a great undergrad GPA (3ish / Engineering), but I did my masters in Engineering Management and compensated for that GPA. Plus I think I have been doing well as a professional (Auto Industry). I transitioned from engineering to Engineering Management. I plan to apply part time. Any thoughts on my profile?

Is tech harder for internationals to get into?

I think as we tend to cross the 6 year work ex limit, the focus is more on GMAT because well 8 years is a long time and GMAT gives a more latest picture if you can handle the academic rigor at the college. So, best case for you would be to score extremely high on GMAT. It’s one of the easiest to get into (when compared to other industries).
