I'm gonna take these BW ranking with a grain of salt. I'm more interested in Poet & Quant's or other websites' analyses of the ranking methodology than the ranking itself.

any indians getting interview calls from CBS ? i submitted on 9/30 went under review on 10/2 but still now news.. ive given up but still wondering how the Indians are doing with the ED round ?

Why schools like Mich and Duke are considered top 10 is beyond me. But that, and Stern's massive drop in a year, just show that some rankings are just jacked.

bw rankings are probably a result of a bad computer program some douche wrote. SMU had 565 applicants and its average GMAT is 640, that's like a third-tier toilet. NYU, on the other hand, has 4500+ applicants and average GMAT is around 710. BW should debug the crap out of its program before publishing this laughingstock.

that's precisely what bw rankings don't care about. Bwrankings are basically a customer satisfaction survey, which might explain why school networks that value team culture over others (like kellogg) do better than most in these rankings. I don't think bw is a function of GMAT, acceptance rates, etc.

Yeah, BW rankings are more about how happy you are with the program. US News and World Report are more about how successful you are. SMU is 12 in BW, 49 in US News. Read into that what you will.

Is that insane?! The email says that it can be as late as Dec,15 to hear from them.

Applied to J term class of 2012, submitted on Oct.6, interviewed invite Oct. 20, Interview complete on Nov.5, a decision was rendered today and i got waitlisted. I think i am hopeless given the class will start soon. Feel very bad now! Crying!!

I saw that about 120 people already joined the J term class of 2012 facebook group (size: 180 in total). I assume that they will only have no more 10 spots open at this point. Anyone recently got off the j term waitlist? Any advice will be highly appreciated! Thanks!

Hi..This might me out of context, but I am just wondering whether CBS has started inviting non-ED applicants too for interview. I am a Regular Decision applicant, and kind of concerned...thank you for the information!

Mandy, I'm under the impression that Columbia won't even begin to review RD applications until December, so no interview invites.

I'm beginning to be a bit concerned about my chances for interview (submitted on 10/6) but seems like from the spreadsheet there are a bunch of people in the same boat (with seemingly very strong profiles, to boot).

No emails for me. Still waiting on that interview invite. I'm finding solace in the fact that there are so many people on that spreadsheet who applied around the same time as I did and haven't gotten an interview either. I hope we all hear something soon. The suspense is killing me!

It's somewhat incomplete, but at least you can reference it for many examples of how long it takes to be invited for interview as well as receive a decision post interview.

Most likely u were waitlisted since usually they call for admits. I haven't see dings for jterm post interview
