In the website they say that it must be paid online using a credit card (FAQ section, PhD)...
I hope that helps. I have the same question as you do.

Quick question guys: My application was submitted at 11:52pm CT on 5th, but the application system is showing "January 6th" for application submission time. Will I be considered for round 2? Has anyone seen the same thing?

Quick question guys: My application was submitted at 11:52pm CT on 5th, but the application system is showing "January 6th" for application submission time. Will I be considered for round 2? Has anyone seen the same thing?

I called the admissions office yesterday to confirm the deadline time. They told me it was 5 pm CT on 5th. Hope you get considered for R2!

I just called the admission office and asked them about the deadline, I was told it was actually 11:59pm CT 1/5. The system is showing 6th because it uses ET. Can anyone else confirm the deadline was 11:59pm CT 1/5?

This is what I found on the Application Process page for Booth: "Your application must be submitted on the day of the deadline in order to be considered for a particular application round." I interpreted it as any time on the day of the deadline.

I know Kellogg's deadline is 5pm CT 1/6. Any chance people confused Booth with Kellogg?

In an email that I had received as a reminder of R2 deadline from Booth, it mentioned that 5 PM CT on 5th Jan is the deadline for R2.

I called Booth on the Deadline and they told me it was 5PM CT.

I am very concerned right now.. I did find one Booth email that posted 5pm CT deadline. Besides calling and that one email, were there any other sources for the 5pm CT deadline?

Why would the admission staff this morning tell me I would be considered for R2 since I submitted before 11:59pm CT 1/5 then?? Did she tell me that by mistake?? Not sure if I should call again..

For your peace of mind, call them again and confirm. Apart from that email, no other location mentions this deadline time wise. Hopefully you will be considered in R2.

I have the same problem - I applied at 11pm CST since there was no mention of 5PM CST anywhere (I looked to confirm) on the website. I haven't received an email about 5PM.

Anyone with the same issue called the admissions?

I called the admission this morning, and was told 11:59 pm CT would be the deadline. Would you please call again to confirm? (773.702.7369) And maybe also ask about the email and why some people were told through the phone the deadline was 5pm..

I am guessing the 5pm deadline was sent to reduce server traffic around midnight. Maybe only some of the applicants received that email. The email actually never mentioned that 5pm CT was the deadline, it simply asked us to submit the applications to be considered for class of 2018.

P.S. how is my profile automatically updated with Booth?

I actually called this morning as well. I told her I applied last night 11PM central and wanted to make sure I am in (seeing the time stamp - Jan 6th ) - she said the deadline was 5PM. I told her 5PM was not on the website. She said 11.59PM either. I politely replied - it says "the day of" for the deadline. She put me on hold and came back and said they have my file and will be part of R2. I don't have anything in writing though. And HBS & Wharton sent confirmations for specifically Round 2. Booth has not...

Now seeing all these discussions around 5PM worries me. Not sure if I should call again... hmm...

Anyone received specific R2 inclusion confirmation from Booth? I don't know if Booth even sends that...

Good catch with the email verbiage. It does not specifically mention that 5 PM CST is the deadline time but below the line with the time, it mentioned R3 deadline. So the above time of 5 PM on Jan 5 can only mean the time for R2. What do you mean by "automatically updated"?

No. Just got the "CONFIRMED: Chicago Booth Application Submitted" with no emphasis on what round. Wharton did specifically mention what round was the application in.If you called up adcom and they told you that your application is R2, rest assured it will be considered such.

"Booth '18 (S)" was added to my GMAT Club profile this morning without my knowledge. I guess there's a very diligent admin somewhere who helps with the updates.

Is the grace period of 1 week automatically granted?

Not necessarily. Some schools are very strict with the deadlines. Do make sure to call them up and confirm.
