Did everyone who's already applied regular decision receive an email on 11/13 saying CBS was starting to review regular decision applicants? For some reason did not receive this even though my application was completed on 11/8....

Interviewed on the 9th November. I was an ED applicant. Submitted my application on 29th September. Got my interview call on the 21st Oct. Interviewed on 9th November and got in on the 15th Nov

Is anyone still left from the ED round who is awaiting to hear back from the admissions committee? My interview feedback was submitted on 9th Nov and I still have not received the final result.

Congrats Nishant! Looks like you got considerably lower score in the second GMAT attempt. Wondering how CBS viewed at it. Generally schools consider highest score but want to know how CBS looked at this drop.

Hey Narenn,

I actually got higher scores on that my last test. On GMAT club, for some reason, the scores are arranged in the wrong order. So I applied to CBS with a 740 (Jan 2018), though my earlier 690 score (Nov 2017) was also available to them. An honest mistake on my end. :)

Hey Narenn,

I actually got higher scores on that my last test. On GMAT club, for some reason, the scores are arranged in the wrong order. So I applied to CBS with a 740 (Jan 2018), though my earlier 690 score (Nov 2017) was also available to them. An honest mistake on my end. :)

Not long after Katie Brehm, a first-year MBA student, realized that she had been drugged and raped by a classmate at Columbia Business School, she did something extraordinary. The 31-year-old young professional wrote an email to the 70 fellow students in Cluster A, one of several groups assigned to take all of the first-year core classes together.

Her allegations come at an awkward time for Columbia Business School. Only this summer, the school and one of its professors was the subject of a highly publicized trial in New York District Court that ended with a $1.25 million judgment in favor of a former assistant professor who said she was a victim of sexual harassment and retaliation at CBS. During that trial, it was revealed that the university investigated three separate harassment cases involving male professors at its business school simultaneously in 2014, including an allegation that a Columbia Business School professor had sex with a female student in his faculty office.

When we discuss about B schools and their culture such cowardly actions need to be discussed. What else do you think culture is? If this is not relevant to culture what is? Prospective students should ask right questions when applying. What if tomorrow another female student is raped? What if she is today on this forum?
