Me too got the ding today, still hopeful for an invite through my regular application. Hopefully they start sending them out soon.

I got a nomination to apply for it. Is that what you were dinged for or is that what you already got? I just don't know the process at all.

what does that mean? how did you apply, i thought they just like nominated? I bet that means i was dinged too since i didnt hear anything. Or maybe I am just an idiot, dont know the process haha.

I was invited to apply, did, and told decision day was Oct 22. After not hearing anything I emailed them today asking for an update and they told me I was not invited to the interview weekend. I would say it is safe to assume that if you weren't invited on the 22nd that you are no longer being considered. As I understand it there are only 2 Jefferson fellows in each class, so they probably only invited 5-8 people to the interview.

interesting. So i didn't apply, i just received an email on the 22nd basically saying I was nominated to apply and they needed my consent to release my information. Havent heard anything back since then.
