I am a reapplicant and I did NOT submit a reapplicant essay (how I have strengthened my candidature etc) since Darden does not specifically ask for a one. In hindsight, would it have made sense to write one? Is it obvious that I should have? Thoughts.

My two cents: you're submitted now. It's time to chill.

P.S. You can always ask them and submit additional material.

FROM Darden Admissions Blog: Social Impact Around the World With Global Consulting Projects
Global Field Experiences (GFEs) are MBA electives that give students the opportunity to provide consulting services to an international company or organization.

This year’s Global Field Experiences will be offered in Kathmandu, Manila, Nigeria, Hanoi, Amsterdam, Shandong, Thohoyandou, Stockholm and a globally focused experience within U.S. borders in Corning, New York.

Guided by a faculty adviser, students will consult remotely with sponsoring organizations in these locations over the course of the semester. In November and December, they will make on-site visits to meet with their clients face-to-face, conduct on-the-ground research and present deliverables.

Last year, students worked with Freeset Global, a company that manufactures custom bags, shirts and other garments, in Calcutta, India. By providing jobs for the women it employs, Freeset addresses the growing problem of human trafficking — freeing the women from forced participation in the sex trade and providing a better life for them and their children.

In their project, students generated a detailed analysis of the current Freeset business strategy, customer base and marketing strategy, and they envisioned a large-scale growth strategy that will provide an increasing number of women the economic alternative to indentured servitude. This included identifying product diversification/positioning opportunities, new distribution partners and a communications plan.

In the following video, Annie Hilton, co-founder of Freeset Global, and Chirag “CJ” Jain (MBA ’14) discuss the mission of Freeset Global in Calcutta, India, its relationship with Darden, and how both have benefited from working together to grow the business globally.

Hey jpday,

So a member from the Darden adcom mentioned that interview invites would start rolling in towards end Oct/early Nov. So you can get an idea of the timeline from that.
