So this is what I gather from the previous years thread :
*Interview calls easily go upto the end of first week of December

*Internationals tend to receive invites later in the cycle.

*Very few internationals report an interview call on the forum (strange phenomenon)

Let's try and change point#3. It will really help if everyone who gets an invite shares their profile details with the rest of us here.

Does anyone know if Darden has sent any invites this week? This blog is so quiet makes me think this might be it for now

Still no more invitations? Last year they seemed to do small "waves" of invites every 3 to 4 days so I'm kind of expecting to see some more pop up soon. Did Darden take extra time off during/around Veteran's Day? Could explain some of the silence, but I know the rest of the university was open on Tuesday.

Received the invitation on November 11 US time. International applicant in Asia. I really understand the situation of you guys who are waiting. Please do not worry too much. There many reasons such as health we must be happy in life at anytime. Very Good Luck on your Darden anf other school applications!

Got an invite for an online interview today! I was almost about to give up hope and this happened.
Hang in there guys - it does look like there are going to be quite a few invites for Indian applicants now.

Well, I just got a link to their interview scheduler and as of last night, only Dec 3 was open and available. But I suppose more dates open up as and when more invites are sent.

I received an invite from Darden today at 10:06 EST. However, this is what the e-mail said:

We understand that you applied to Darden's full-time MBA. In our review of your application, however, the Admissions Committee has determined that we see a stronger fit for you with Darden's Executive MBA formats. Moreover, I am writing to invite you to interview for Darden's Global MBA for Executives and MBA for Executives. We are excited to offer you this opportunity. While you will not be offered an interview for our full-time MBA format, this invitation to interview for our Executive MBA formats is being extended to only a very small number of applicants.

Has anyone else had any experience with this? I am applying to full time MBA programs because I am making a career change (leaving active duty military). The only thing I can think of is that I am older than most applicants (34).

Edit: I am in Hawaii. Also, I submitted my application on October 12th. It still counted for R1 due to technical issues that prevented me from submitting on October 10th.

I think you pretty much have your answer there. I think somewhere around 7 to 10 years of work experience is where they start pointing you towards the EMBA. My guess is that you already have a bunch of leadership experience and they just want to teach you the more academic portion of the MBA. I could be completely off base here though.

Those stupids have given the same mail to me also....
