Anyone from Asia/India received interview invite recently?

I think nobody on GMATClub reported invites this week.

It does look like the percentage of invited/interviewed applicants has stayed at about 26% all week. Judging by last year's thread, I would guess that there's still one more wave of invites to come, but our odds are certainly shrinking. Best of luck everyone!

I have been invited to interview on November 11 but my online application status has not changed, it is still showing "submitted". How about others who got invitation?

Greetings from Charlottesville! I can imagine this would be even nicer when it isn't all cloudy and rainy.

Just went through last year's thread - last invites were sent in the week before thanks-giving. Also, before the school closed for thanks giving last year, Darden Admission Blog posted that most of the interview invites were already sent. So, if I were to draw any inference, then the last wave of invites should be today or tomorrow.

Super anxious!!
Need an invite and an admit - don't want to prep for R2! :(

Congrats Butters8 for the interview invite and welcome to GMATClub :)

On last years thread the number going around was - 40% (for the percentage of interviewed applicants that are admitted) but I'm not sure how legit it is. Your most reliable source for this info would be from an official UVA rep or you could dig up some old chat transcripts.

All the best!

Had my Skype inerview last week. To be honest, there were only a couple of questions from the interviewer:
1.Why MBA
2.Why Darden
All other questions were related to the stuff written on my resume.
Regards and Good Luck,

Regards and Good Luck,

Isn't it true that the interview is completely blind - as in, they don't even have your resume? And did they ask you for a 15/20-minute monologue in the beginning describing yourself?

Yes, it is completely blind and 15-20 minute monologue at the beginning. My interviewer even did not know my home country and where I work.

I wouldn't say that until at least one week before decision day.

FROM Darden Admissions Blog: The Darden Brand Challenge and Our Upcoming Women’s Event in NYC
The annual Brand Challenge, an event in which the Darden community tests the newest products on the market and provides feedback on a variety of brands’ latest innovations, took place this past Friday. Among the products featured were beautiful Aston Martin cars.

Additionally, Dr. Ulrich Bez, the chairman and former CEO of Aston Martin, was a guest speaker in the Darden Leadership Speaker Series last week, giving students the opportunity to learn more about Aston Martin, the transportation industry, and Dr. Bez’s experiences as a leader in the company.

However, that is not the only exciting thing happening these days. Darden Admissions is thrilled to announce that on 4 December, we will be hosting a Women’s Event in New York City. Guests will be able to experience Darden’s case method in person, as well as talk to alumnae about their experiences at Darden.

For more details, watch the latest video blog from MBA Admissions Dean Sara Neher below, or check out our registration page.

Just a couple photos from a tour yesterday. The facilities are very nice. Randomly talked to a few students who were walking around. All were enthusiastic and wished me luck when I said I was a prospective student. Tour guide said she was renting a cabin on 40 acres as opposed to living in an apartment or student housing.
