To any current Fuqua students or others familiar with the Durham area, are there any places to eat that I should try to visit while I'm in town? I'll do the normal internet search before making the trip, but I'd love to hear your suggestions. Surely there is a Carolina BBQ place that is amazing in either Durham or Chapel Hill.

Has anyone received the email from them with the itinerary after scheduling the interview? This was mentioned in the email that had the link to schedule, but I haven't received it. Just checking if I should email them and let them know, or if this might still be coming?

If you're looking for barbecue, backyard barbecue & Q Shack are two places that people tend to like. I'm not really a fan of Carolina barbecue, so I don't really have a preference between the two.

Just submitted; I've already interviewed, so now I wait until March 25th!

Q shack has great BBQ (roughly 5 minutes from Fuqua). Great frozen yogurt place across the street from Q shack as well. Sushi Love (1 minute from school) is great and very close by. In Chapel Hill there's a ton of great places on Franklin Street (definitely must visit if you've never been here); e.g., Top of the Hill (only for the beer and view, not the food); Spanky's; Mint (Indian); B'Ski's (fast wraps, perfect post-beer place); 411 (for when your relatives visit); tons more. Durham also has Revolution (high end); Tylers (tons of beers, good southern food), plus a ton more. Good luck!
