Fosterizer

Thanks neo, that makes me feel a bit better. Where'd you here that from about the Duke adcom? I'm not going to read my app again to avoid such heart attacks...
My opinion is based on the student/adcom blogs, interviews of adcom members and reviews from consultants.
And yes, reading an application after submission is always a bad idea (but totally review it before an interview!), b'coz not much can be done about major mistakes. Minor mistakes, 1 or 2, are just gonna exist with almost all who haven't hired a consultant or taken help of additional eyes.
alwaysudit

I think you must write an email to the Duke adcom and update them about this minor mistake . I feel it would reflect badly on your commitment to your application if they notice a mistake that you couldn't. Worst they might even draw some weird conclusion from your bullet point. From my interactions with Fuqua adcom , I can say with certainty that they are very friendly and such a minor mistake won't even affect your application .
I love democracy! We all can be correct even when we don't have same opinion. :)

Fosterizer - I must say that whatever I have mentioned is just my personal opinion.

Submission and Interview completed for Round 1.!! I like the fact that Duke offers a reduction in fee to those who visit campus to know the school better. Good luck to all round 1 applicants !

Fosterizer: I wouldn't worry much my friend. People mess up stuff all the time. It could be a typo, missing word or a grammatical glitch. The adcoms expect you to be congnizant of what you submit but they certainly don't expect you to spend dollars on having someone proof read your app. You could write an email to admissions or not. Whatever route you take wont break the deal for you. So don't sweat on it too much . They may not even notice the miss !!

Interviewed during open period – overall I thought the day was very well-organized. Duke has a strong sense of community.

Can you please share a few more details on the experience, as well as a few questions that were asked?

The majority of it focused around my resume and work experience - very conversational though. Good experience.

I tried several times to admit my application but received "Session timed out. Your session timed out." message after filling in credit card information and pressing "submit" button. It's only 10 hours left till the deadline and I am a little bit upset because of this technical issue.

Could anyone please advice regarding this issue ?

p.s: I've written an e-mail to application-processing@fuqua.duke.edu already

VadimKlimenko RELAX!!

The same thing was happening with me - just log out of the portal, close your browser, restart your browser, log in to the portal and try to make the payment again. I did this and it worked immediately!

Also guys,

just a reminder, we have to send our official scores with the application. You can do this by logging into mba.com and navigating from there.

What do you mean by "send our official scores with the application"? Are you referring to uploading the "Unofficial" scores, or are you referring to simply having the GMAT official score report sent, as you do when you chose 5 schools when you take the test?

That happened to me at 11:55PM EST...Luckily I was able to relaunch and get my application in before the deadline. I almost had a heart attack. Good luck everyone!
