There are always pros and cons to consider. Alumni endorsement letters can certainly enhance an application, but their effectiveness largely depends on the recommender’s familiarity with the applicant and the quality of their insights. A recommendation from someone who genuinely understands your strengths will always carry more weight than one based solely on their alumni status. It’s essential to choose someone who can provide a personal and authentic perspective on your character and qualifications.

Anyone received interview invite for R1?

I’d got my interview for EA on Sunday 6th. No update yet. When did the interview you?

The decision will sent out on Oct. 18 for EA

R1 applicants probably won’t hear anything until after EA decisions next week. However, if R1 is rolling like EA, interview invites were sent on Mondays.
