Waitlisted too. If anyone has any insights on how to get off of it, please do share.
+1A big issue for me is that I already have an admit from isb but us mba schools were my first choice so I wanted a decision now to make a call since isb starts in April. In fact the final commitment fees needs to be paid next week. Any idea how realistic it is to be hopeful of getting off the waitlist? Would really appreciate thoughts and strategies to consider at this point
Hello,
One cannot rely on the waitlist even if you do your very best (which implies constantly engaging with the Ad Com and updating them on things you are doing to improve your profile).
The ideal strategy would be to secure your seat at ISB.

Yesterday's Waitlist webinar also sounded like they will not be taking a decision before Round 2 deadline, which is Mar 14. If you were waitlisted without an interview, you should send updates before Feb 17, before they send interview decisions for Round 2.
They clearly sounded like they wanted us to keep sending updates, attend every webinar, something like 3-4 touch points before next set of decisions.
Only positive aspect was that they mentioned 15-30% of the class is admitted from WL. So people waitlisted after interview have some chance.
