Isn't the gmat enough of an indication of language abilities?
Specially for english
I doubt there's anyone who can score a respectable amount in gmat verbal and not speak or understand the language
If they say that oh we don't have a minimum gmat requirement - lets be honest here. You're not taking international students below a certain gmat score anyways. Specially for the top 20 schools

Shower thought: what about mute or deaf candidates? How does the toefl work for them? Isn't that basically a waste of money in addition to GMAT/GRE in this case?
All things said. No need to discuss this any further. I'm just taking out my frustration at the amount of money I spent on this stupid test at this point. Apologies for polluting the chat guys.
