Calling all Harvard MBA Applicants: 2023 Intake Class of 2025

I want to offer a word of caution here. The days around and immediately after the deadlines are some of the most stressful and intense days not just for you as MBA candidates but for the MBA Admissions staff. I know because I used to run one. Think carefully what impression you might leave if you expect someone else to fix your mistakes. I don’t think it will be a good Idea to email them, since you have mentioned such in your resume and essay, they will be able to access you using that infomation. Besides, it is not compulsory to have extracurriculars in your submission. Remember they review the whole application holistically to have an overall view of the particular applicant.

Decisions , decisions! To be perfectly honest - we all make mistakes. If it makes you feel better - I accidentally put a lower GPA than my actual transcript. Don’t ask me why. LOL. I’m hoping I get an opportunity to interview to explain if they are curious enough but if they care so much about that & I get rejected then I would just take it as a learning experience. BTW Perfectionism is a disease and overrated nowadays so, perhaps the best choice is to embrace your imperfections! I once learned from someone wise to just focus on the positive - not the things we could’ve done & accept & forgive yourself & others & move forward. Life is too short to worry about the small stuff! Plus I read that article that was shared on admissions…Geez! I hope I didn’t pester hbs tech support too much during my application process! LOL! It’s a journey y’all! Don’t forget to laugh along the way !!!

Did anyone get the invite for an interview in R2?

Hmmm…no. Applications just closed yesterday afternoon. Is it typical to get asked to do an interview this early on?

All the Round 2 interview invites will be sent out in one go. They will announce the date and time through a blog post sometime soon.

For any R1 waitlist candidates, has anyone received communication on the waitlist update? The official email comms said the update would be in March, but during the webinar, Eileen (adCom) said we would hear from them in Jan

I am also a R1 waitlisted candidate and have not received anything. Guess it is too early though.

Do you have any idea of how many WL spots open each year? Are you doing anything? I have been only waiting so far

The link below was posted earlier in the chat, and it looks to be the source of the announcement. As of now, no announcement for round 2 interviews have been made.

Last year, the Round 2 interview invitations announcement post was made on Jan 27. We can expect a blog post around the same timeline, I think.
