May allow some flexibility for late recommendation letters, but it's best to submit your application on time. A delay of a day is unlikely to disqualify you from the intended round, but there's no official guarantee. Encourage your recommender to submit ASAP, and if needed, get in touch with the adcom about the delay. Good luck

Both the Jan and Sept intakes for the HEC are equally competitive. Both intakes follow the same core curriculum, but the sequencing of the customized phase might differ slightly. Ultimately, neither intake is easier to get into, choose based on your readiness and personal preferences rather than perceived competitiveness.
