What is the difference in terms of below factors if we submit application in R3 vs R4
1. Admit chances
2. Scholarship
I'm from India(software engineer by profession ) and have heard that they have specific quota for countries like India(maybe 25%). If it gets filled in earlier rounds, they stop admitting further from that country
Can anyone verify this please?
While few Indian applicants are admitted in later rounds, its advisable to apply in the first 3 rounds IMHO. You have more seats available and if candidates with similar profiles like yours are already admitted in earlier rounds then your chances will decrease. Its hard to say about specific country quotas (except for IMD), but yes, the adcoms try to build diverse classrooms, with the composition remaining similar year after year, which shows that they are mindful of admitting folks from the same country.
The scholarship grant should not be affected though.
