What is the deposit that we need to pay if admitted in say R1, to the HEC MBA?
Around £6,000 - 10% of program fee

What are the round deadline for hec mim
It is not yet announced. Last year it was October 18 so should be around that time. You can check the website after few days to see this year’s deadlines.
https://www.hec.edu/en/master-s-program ... lock-53684

Hope it helps!

Depends on many things such as region, work experience, international experience and overall profile.....if everything else is great then 670 should work

But for Indians 20-30 points above school average is recommended...HEC’s average is 690

Hello guys!
I’m applying for Jan 2024 intake. The round that I applied for has a scheduled decision date of 13 July. However, I got the email from the AO saying that the decision date was postponed until next Monday. Does anyone receive the same message?

Or has anyone already received the admission for this round (12/6)? Really anxious here…🫤

HEC conducts an admissions jury (for the final decision) once a month, and also takes feedback from the alumni interviewers prior to the jury. If either or both of these events or the feedback results in any unforeseen delay, which is understandable given the schedules of the stakeholders involved, the decision date may be postponed. While I don't know your exact context/ situation, I wouldn't worry, and would wait until next week.

All the best!

Usually business schools announce deadlines and then a month or so later they open up their application. For example, Yale announced their essays and deadlines a month ago and just last week they opened the application.

You may wanna give it a week or you can always contact that missions team 😇

Eeek. That’s very soon. Scratch waiting a week 😱. Less than a month. I am out of ideas.

For the Jan 24 intake, 6 (out of the 10) rounds are over. While we don't know exactly how many seats are allocated per round, the later you apply, the more competitive it becomes: both for admits and scholarships, as you would be competing against the bar set by admits from the previous round(s). Of course, with a strong profile (GMAT, experiences, motivations etc.), this should not be an issue.

2) Will be I be considered for Sept 24 intake, looking at my exp (that would be 12 yrs next sept) ??[/quote]
HEC MBA candidates typically have between 2 and 10 years of working experience (the average for the Class of 2019 is 6 years). 12 years would be on the higher side, and again, would still be considered if the profile and motivations are strong enough. Have you also considered the EMBA option?

Please check out my recent article analyzing in detail the pro's and con's of applying in each round. Feel free to schedule a profile evaluation call if you would like to discuss further.

Hi Arvind, thanks for detailed response. I am more interested in Full time. Hope to get a competitive score to at least present my application.

arindamrc I would also recommend connecting with the HEC Admissions Team - this can be done by filling in the "Connect with us" form online. This step helps you get feedback from the school (while it does not affect the application outcome), and establish a connection with the school. This is crucial for experienced candidates such as yourself, as it gives you an opportunity to explain your experiences in detail and your motivations for applying to the MBA. A strong application would then complement these discussions.
