Hello there,
Congratulations on your admit! I am a Sept 2017 intake, and out of experience I can say that the student services of IE do whatever they can to ensure a smooth and seamless visa application process. After you have reserved your seat, the student services team should begin interacting with you. They will send you some mandatory documents which are sufficient to prove that you are a student of IE.
Word to the wise, depending on the country you are from, the visa requirements vary. If I'm not wrong, in most countries you can apply for your visa only 3 months before your planned date of departure. I would advise you to look up the Spanish embassy visa requirements for a National visa now itself so that you can plan your way around getting some of the documents you may require from your country of origin which may take time to come through (valid and legalised criminal record certificate, medical certificate etc.)
The student services will send you a mail with the visa requirements as well, in case they haven't, I would assume it's because you still have time to apply for your visa.
All the best!
