I have received an invite for AD on Nov 13th in Barcelona. I have seen few people updating their status on AD as well. However I am a little confused about the invitation for Barcelona, as I am based in Singapore.

Is everyone planning to attend the AD in Barcelona?

Anyone planning to travel from Singapore or nearby? How about if we plan to travel together? Have you guys started booking the tickets for Barcelona yet?

The tickets are really expensive with such a short lead time. I am really pressed for time. Any informational help would be highly appreciated.

I think you are mistaking open day for assessment day. I had the same confusion and got this cleared during my interview last Friday. Itzier said on 13th what they have is open day, which is open for all and AD is scheduled on 14th Nov. You might have received an invite for open day which is in Barcelona. AD is conducted at several places. If you are based in Singapore you will be invited for the one in Singapore.

Had my interview yesterday. Pretty conversational and friendly. Was actually fun!

Not to make anybody anxious but my interviewer said that although deadline for admission decisions is December 11th, they hold committees every week and you could get a call earlier than this date.

I'm guessing this doesn't apply if you were invited to the Assessment Day though. A week or so after the AD is when you can expect to hear is what I've heard around the forums.

Exactly. A note about invitations to AD is that my interviewer told me that invitations were offered to those who they thought could have a chance of traveling there. They understood the burden for latin americans to travel she said, even when I mentioned that I would love to participate. I felt like it wasn´t such a mandatory step towards being admitted as I thought it was.

Still if able to travel you should definitely do it I guess

Has anybody from Mumbai received an interview invite? With everybody discussing ADs, waiting for the invite seems to be a cause in vain.

Hi All,
I received my acceptance yesterday!
I interviewed Oct 30 in Barcelona and was told AD was not necessary for me, so was not invited to it. If you haven't heard about AD, don't be discouraged. I was worried about not beign invited but was told that it's not necessary if they have enough information with your application alone. It says something similar on the website.
