Only one file per section was visible in education & work section. In rest, all were visible.

Can anyone tell what were the dates of interview for PGPX last year? In website it is mentioned that it will be held from Sep-Oct’24.

Hello everyone, I am a merchant navy professional. While filling up the application form, should I mention the international exposure explicitly under the corresponding column. If yes, which country shall I put, because the ship operates world wide, not specific countries or regions.

The PGPX brochure gives info about the exact interview dates for this year. You can refer that.

-Worked as Lead in EY, India til 2020
-moved to Canada and worked Senior Management consultant- in the digital transformation/cloud consulting space till March 2024
-PMP and Six Sigma-certified -Green Belt
-Cloud Azure certified.


Have my exam on the 30th sep- what should be my aim and how to prepare for the essay and SOP (as this would be my second MBA) as the deadline is 9th of October
and chances of r2/R3

What is the time deadline for today’s application on R1. Can we submit till 11pm.

­Seeing the trend in the recent years, the number of people from O&G background has definitely increased. Aim for an above average score for a smooth convert. If you have already taken GMAT/ GRE, please mention your score.
Other aspects of the application such as your essays, interview etc. also play a major role and can be discussed when you start your application process.

­Having international experience is definitely a plus but would recommend a 710+ score. For the essays and SOP, send me a message over chat and we can discuss in detail.

Must be 710 Classic (~665 GFE). A GFE 710 is way too high for a qualifying score anywhere in the world

10th= 94%
12th= 80%
BTech= 9.27 CGPA (NIT Patna)

GFE score= 625

Work ex= 9yrs in an oil PSU

During my college days, took the initiative to establish and co-found the student chapter of a reputed international professional society. Also, led the team representing my college for the first time at an international level vehicle design and speed competition and ended among Top 3 teams of the competition. As the General Secy of the student chapter was instrumental in organising a number of activities, workshops, seminars etc in the college.

While at college, I had also volunteered for teaching children living in slums nearby college premises.

In my professional journey till date, I have worked in 3 different roles at 4 different locations within India. Have received 3 progressions during the 9 years at my company. Was instrumental in implementation of flagship schemes of GOI in the most rural and tribal areas of the country. Have received recognition from the company for increasing digital reach among the customers and also for increasing profitability in commercial sales. Currently leading a team of 45 channel partners and have worked with more than 130 channel partners during my last 7 years experience in sales which has enriched my experience of working with and managing people with different dispositions, culture, age, financial capability, education, demography etc.

Have contributed multiple times in achieving All india highest volumes, profits and allied sales for my territory, sales area and channel partners with whom I have worked with.

I am fond of painting and and like writing on abstract topics concerning an individual or society

Considering your GMAT score is just below the class average score of last year, I would say this is a good profile for IIMs and ISB. With 9 years of experience, a lot will depend on how comprehensive and impactful your application is and how you justify your why MBA and goals after that in your SOP. Competition is high for candidates from PSUs and hence it will also be important to stand out from the crowd.

Would need much more information to do a profile review. Your work experience, roles and responsibilities, your achievements, extra currculars, etc, all play a key role in selection. Your scores are good , but your GMAT score will play a much biggger role. As i said earlier, for candidates from PSUs, competition is high and hence it is essential to stand out and show why you should be selected.

Hi, theoretically and academically, you are a good fit for the PGPX program from IIMA. IIMB does not prefer candidates who have more than 10 years work experience but they do place a lot of importance to the overall academic record. You can apply to ISB but you would be among the older students in the batch, considering that their average work ex has fallen to below 4 years.
