A more general question - If we take GMAT after deadlines, Can we update our GMAT scores in the application by mailing them? How far away from deadline is it possible?

Your diverse career trajectory will make you an interesting candidate.

However, your 64.8% in 12th, relatively modest undergraduate percentage, and the fact that you're pursuing a second MBA. The admissions committee will expect a very convincing answer to "Why didn't your first MBA get you where you wanted to be?" This is probably the biggest hurdle in your application. Also for profile evaluation you can say I want to leverage MBA for XYZ role but don't make it sound too apparent in your application that you are thinking of college as a placement agency.

Further Your goal of moving into strategy/operations consulting is plausible, but you'll need to explain why a second MBA, specifically IPMX, is the right bridge. If your current role already has strategy exposure, be prepared to explain why internal progression isn't sufficient.

GMAT is around average score and likely with good application and narrative you would end up getting a call. Conversion depends on the interview and how you will deal with curve balls.

I think IPMX might be a low hanging option for you ...

With a fine application and interview prep you must target IIM A/B/C and IS
I am pretty sure you can make it to them.

For a detailed discussion and find candidates with similar profile who made it to these schools, you can reach me ...

safe score for all IIMs (ABLIK) is 320 or more...

for L | I | K the score 315 or more would suffice.

Is it so that cutoff decreases as we move in R2/R3?

Even with 312, and current list of achievements and experience, you can convert IIM L (not with much difficulty) but only with a certain amount of prep. Your extracurriculars and academics are very strong.

Honestly, I would suggest that you aim higher and use IIM L as backup option. I think with aim of ISB, you should prepare for GMAT without getting distracted and get 645 or above to be a very attractive profile for adcom.
