@WA@xsi2220 - Your academic stats and professional arc sound interesting.
To assess the profile better, some more details can help:
- Which were your undergrad & Masters Universities e.g. tier-1/ tier-2?
- Which companies did you work in? Were there any promotions? Any international exposure?
- Anything on extracurriculars?
A gap of 4 months is slightly on the higher side, but leverage the essays (career essays & optional essay for INSEAD) to craft a strong narrative covering your motivations for the job switches, upskilling done during gaps, etc.
Broadly, things look ok on paper, and a strong GMAT score can help increase your chances.

Profile Evaluation for INSEAD
Hi, I am looking to start studying for the GMAT and wanted to understand if my profile is strong enough.
10th – 76.8%
12th – 84.61%
Bachelors in Accounting and Finance – 6.8/7 CGPA
MCom in Finance – 9.5/10 CGPA
I have a total experience of 5+ years. I worked in an EdTech company for 5 years in the education loan segment, handling sales, financial partnerships, business development, credit evaluation, and financial planning. I am adept at leading cross-functional teams, negotiating with financial institutions, driving revenue growth, and improving operational efficiency as a Senior Manager.
I was awarded “Amazing Mentor” back-to-back for 2022–23 and 2023–24.
Currently, I am working as a Senior Associate – Growth and Business with a recruitment firm, working closely with the founder on core research, business development, marketing, PR, and business delivery.
I only have a 4-month gap between both jobs.
Please let me know if this gap and the change in industry will impact my chances of getting an admit.
