Hello_
Just applied on the last day for round 4.

Only got 680 on GMAT 2 days prior the deadline (I changed my mind about the intake year 3 weeks ago due to various reasons), so I only spent 5 days working the GMAT.
But got some very strong Recommendation letters + good background. Finger crossed and I hope to meet some of you in 5 months !

680: it's 84-85 percentile. what was the breakup? normally they don't care much about the total score rather the quant and verbal percentile. if they are both 70+ shoot the application.

Recommendations: I doubt anyone goes it with a bad recommendation. but this is till good.

your main tool at this point of time would be your essays. Make them a super-strong one; a sparkling one. Highlight your background, unique experiences, extraordinary achievements. Some social activities.

Thanks mate. My GMAT is quite balanced and I have above 70+ on both Verbal / Quantitative.

For recommendations, I meant one is good - and I don't expect people to come with bad recommendations. But the second one from a C-level was stellar, stating I was ranked top 1% in the co, only staff to have a out-of-cycle promotion to recognise the remit of his responsibilities and that the CEO/founder of a 25B+ Silicon Valley co has asked our board to increase my exposure within their own company. Feels good when I did not really know about all of this

Good luck to everyone else !

damn! thank god you are applying for R4.

Hello_
prabhakar09

damn! thank god you are applying for R4.

What does it change ?

Sorry I am realising I am really novice on everything related to the whole application process and its subtleties/fine details, so I just put a lot of focus over two weeks on the content to be provided and did not spend much time on forums / exchange groups :(
I intended to apply for Jan 18 intake, but some personal life changes made me reconsider that choice and just made the move one year earlier :)

What I mean to say was, it's good for us R3 applicants.

You have very Good GMAT score
Good recco
Good experience.

So don't think much on it. make the application.

How is social life organised before the intake ?
Notably for people to get organised around apartment and so ?

Well there is MBA Connect but do people tend to create a FB Group for the class or something similar so people get to know each other before the actual intake ?

fb, whatsapp, slack, myspace, christianmingle, everything's covered. you'll be taken care of once you get in, no worries.

Yesterday, I had my second Interview. It was at a cafe and lasted about an hour.

It seemed to have gone well, there was no good-bad cop routine in either of the interviews.

fingers crossed.

Another question here. Could not find anything relevant browsing the web, and not sure starting a dedicated thread just for this is worth it.
Do you know what's the typical break duration between 2 periods ?
More like 1-2 days or a week ?

As I said, take this with a pinch of salt. I am sure, quite a few would drop out from that list after today. In a few weeks time, I am expecting to pull a completely different dataset from Connect.

Ohh and I forgot to add this bit:

# starting in FBL Campus: 241
# starting in SGP Campus: 167

Good Luck with all your applications guys.

Say if one has dual citizenship, does he or she count as 2 or 1?
