Hi ujjwalchebbi try to aim as high as you can on the GMAT. ~ 730-740 should be the sweet spot. Your experience in process automation and IOT is a differentiated one. Make sure to do a good job on the essays highlighting your leadership skills as a functional lead during projects you managed across geographies. Your ECs are somewhat dated. If you have managed cross-cultural trainings or brainstorming sessions in an international team, do reflect on those experiences in your essays to show strong team-building capabilities.

Best wishes

kvakhil, There is no harm in changing your goals if you are a re applicant. Your goals can change in real life too, isn’t it? So, don’t worry!

yes you can change. Also add on reapplicant essay what you did to have clarity on the goals. Needless to say the workex so far and the plans forward should be aligned in the 2nd essay.

Ask your recommender to quit the current job and join back the school in which he/she taught you  .

Just kidding :blushing: .

This is completely fine and presents no problem at all. Hope your recommender currently has an official email id. So, the recommender, in the LoR, can mention that he/she knew you, when he/she was a teacher at xyz school.

hey guys, has anybody created a profile on the ISB portal yet? I created one but somehow didn’t see an option of the "login ID" and I’m not sure what my login ID is now(Weird question I know). I’m wondering if it’s a pattern/combination of your name?

Hi
I'm a Product Manager working for an edtech company in Gurgaon.
I have 3 years of experience as a PM, having worked for early and mid-stage startups in fintech and edtech spaces.

I did BSc Physics Hons from Durham University in the UK, I didn't do too well, getting a 2:2, equivalent to a 3.1 GPA.
I took the GMAT last year and got a 710, Q: 46 V: 41. I'm planning on taking the exam again next month, I know I can improve on the Quant a lot more.

I'm planning on applying for 2023 intake, how do I fare with my experience and background and what could I add to my profile to make it stand out?

Thanks

Hello rahrahrasputin

Your 3 years of quality PM experience will be highly valued. As you are confident about improving your GMAT score, you should write it. Durham is a traditional University in the UK, and studying at this university will add value to your pedigree. Because B Schools also look for applicants' non-academic interests, Durham would have provided you with many learning and contribution opportunities outside the classroom too apart from your academic learning.

Do write to us for a detailed profile evaluation and advice.

Hi ChittajKhanna

Wondering why you want to take your LOR from your teacher and not from your employer. If you are applying to YLP your recommender can be from the college. Do get in touch with us for your profile evaluation and advice.

Hello ujjwalchebbi

You have a fair academic % with very good extracurricular and quality 6+ years of work experience will be highly valued by B Schools. A GMAT of 720 is good score for your profile.

Hi kvakhil

The simple answer to your question is 'Yes'. However, the new career goal is reasonable and achievable.
