MananS4G, thanks for the information Manan. Would you know any kind of stats like how many scholarships are rolled out in R1 and how many in R2. I know for a fact that 100% scholarships are rolled out only in R1 so that is a difference definitely. But apart from that what is the difference? Also, if I give GMAT now my score would be around 670-690 so I dont know whether I should work on improving the score or just go ahead with my current score and apply in R1. I’m not sure if I still have sufficient time to apply in R1. Sorry for bombarding you with so many questions, but I really appreciate your patience and guidance here :)

The numbers, only isb knows. In general it is usually a 40-60 split in number of apps between r1 and r2..seats covered are broadly similar. 670-690 would depend on the profile. It should be your best shot at gmat at these scores, otherwise improve and apply in r2

Hi siddharthkh

ISB will consider the best of all your GMAT attempts. Hence, it will not impact your application for PGP to ISB.

I have a question regarding GMAT Score.
I took GMAT online last year and got a 720. I am planning to take it again this week (giving offline because also planning to apply to IIM A PGPX)
My concern is if I get a lower score, will my previous score of 720 be also shared with ISB (As on the mba.com website, it says that a complete report of all scores for the last 5 years are shared with the school)
I cannot cancel the scores if I get a low score because IIM A is only accepting offline scores. Does a lesser score impact the application for ISB or they will only consider the best score?

Hi Gmataspirant96

Considering you have 4+ years of work experience with a very good CGPA in graduation and 12th academic percentage, you should target more than the average GMAT score of the batch. 720+ would be a good target score you can set for yourself.

Hi, can someone review my profile? - I’m a female engineer (computer science) and an IT professional with 4+ years of workex in cloud, devops and data analytics in a well established company (not so renowned in India). I have been a part of 2 committees in my current company, one of them is to imbibe diversity, equity and inclusion. I did my btech from a decent college with a CGPA of 9.09 and I completed my schooling from a very good school with 92.4 percent marks in 12th and 93 percent marks in 10th. Apart from this I have decent extracurriculars too. I own a YouTube music channel (don’t have many followers though) and I own a small business (which is in very initial phase but is profit making). How much do I need to score in GMAT with this profile to strengthen my chances of getting a call from ISB

The Employment Section on the ISB Portal talks about Last Designation. Does it mean that if we’ve had promotions in the company (leading to multiple designations), it should be shown in the same entry, or it should have separate entries?

I found their mocks to be extremely helpful

however, take the official practice tests before appearing for GMAT. These are the most accurate thing to GMAT

Slightly less if you’ve crossed 24 months.
If you’re under the figure, apply through EEO. I just did.
