Any idea when we get Interview shortlist . Will it be at once or will be rolling out throughout month.

no concrete timeline or details on this, but if we assume that it will be the same as R1, then all invites should be sent at once.

2 years Work Ex, CA, (12th-77%, 10th-89). Is it possible to get a call if I get 700+ in GMAT, because I am having gap of 1 year i.e. doing no job/business since last 1 year

GMAT: sub 650. Work ex: Diverse AF. Pro sports background. Future goal : Entrepreneurship in the domestic sporting sector. They do say they value diversity. Anyone any thoughts on my profile/chances of getting in?

Your reasons will need to be solid. No work ex, no experience in anything. Why MBA? Figure that out and you’re good to go.

Get the X factor in there. And you’re okay, I assume.

Decision making has an emotional aspect involved in it. All depends on the person reviewing your application tbh. No other way to think about it.

Absolutely. Tell me more on the pro sports bit? Important to establish a basic business plan for the short term and long term vision about your venture. The need for an mba (incl a 40 L investment) would definitely be probed in the interview

Played for professional football clubs (academy and first teams) in UK, Ireland, Thailand and India. Future goal mentioned is along the lines of entrepreneurship towards grassroots development.

Business networking, entrepreneurship insights, ISB’s alumni base and curriculum were the things I mentioned for ’Why ISB’.

10-12 scores slightly low, assuming CA / grad scores are similar, you’d definitely ned a 700+ in the gmat to establish academic and analytical potential. Gap years isn’t an issue if explained well. CA does add value

Know a level deeper than this, should be good. Also a view on what you’ve done so far to try for the venture that the need for an mba became apparent

So, an interview call is likely?

Hey Sagar, thanks for sharing. CA is definitely a stand-out factor here. I would recommend to get more than 710 (which is the average ISB score) in order to strengthen your chances of getting a call. And well-written essays can also help you in compensating for low 12th acads/gap year.
