Does ISB ’like’ reapplicants?

I was rejected during round 2. But want to reapply, so just want to know I’ll have a better chance
ISB loves reapplicants, and for a reason: For instance, in your case, a GMAT score of 760 would perhaps have made you a good candidate for numerous schools world-wide.

But the very fact that you decided to wait an entire year and reapply to ISB, gives ISB an indication that ISB is not just one of the numerous other schools that you are interested in. Which school will not love such students?

Which is the best admission consultant for ISB?
Hey,

I have been working with Manan Puri from Strategy4GMAT (S4G) for the past year now.

It’s been a great experience, they are very helpful and have some real good practices which can help you prepare for ISB applications and interviews.

Last year, I could get through ISB by myself. Which is Manan’s feedback has really helped in building my profile as a reapplicant.

It’s him who gave me confidence and made my mind to give GRE another shot. And it’s great to know that I scored 333 this time.

I definitely recommend Manan Puri and entire team. It’s worth noting that the team themselves are ISB alumnus which is a cheery on top.

Hi ritwikkg

ISB is among the most reapplicant-friendly schools out there. So don't worry about a reapplication if your profile stats are otherwise fine.

I am in family bussiness helping my father in his Tax consultancy. We have a small office. WHAT INCOME PROOF SHOULD I GIVE DURING APPLICATION.ALSO HOW TO SHOW MY WORK EXPERIENCE? Please suggest guys

For income proof: If you receive a regular salary from your family business, you can provide your salary slips or income statements as proof. If you don't have a formal salary, you might consider providing your personal income tax returns if you file them. Another option could be an affidavit or a letter from a certified public accountant stating your income from the family business.

For work experience: The best way to showcase your work experience is through your resume and essays. In your resume, focus on your roles, responsibilities, and achievements in the business. Be specific about the projects you've handled, the teams you've led, or the changes you've implemented. In your essays, you can delve deeper into your experiences, challenges, and learnings. For proof, a letter on the company letterhead specifying your role and duration of experience will work.

Which is the best admission consultant for ISB?
I took the help of Sarthak Verma from Career Edge in Round 2 in the last year admissions cycle for ISB. Turned out to be pretty good for me. The unique thing which I saw was that they provided unlimited 1:1 live zoom sessions from evaluating the profile to essay writing to mock interviews. Also, they spent a lot of time in narrative building for the essays, which made the whole process easier.

Completing 2 years of full time work-ex is a mandatory requirement to join the PGP at ISB (for YLPs, it’s 20 months). Also, in the EEO application, they will ask you where you are working currently in the work-experience section. It is not a deal breaker if you aren’t working at the time of applying through EEO, but it does go into your candidature. Other EEO applicants who have been working (for < 2 years, while applying) will talk about their work-ex in their essays as well.

So I have a work ex of 1 year and few months but am not working currently. So in my case what would you suggest, is it advisable to hold a offer letter while applying or it would be okay if i dont?

It’s absolutely okay if don’t have a job in hand right now. However, you’d need to explain the current ’gap’ and the plan in your essays and eventually interview. If possible, get a role before you apply. You still have 3+ months before the application deadline (assuming it’ll be September). Hope you’re not on a break to prepare for gmat.
