Yeah but as I was reading through the comments, even a 700 is not being considered a good score, so I was just getting worried

hey rishab! Im in the same position as you are in. i had approached an isb alum for his advice. The essays and the interview are given weightage too. i know people with 670 getting admit without any exceptional work ex, but they’ve managed to articulate their work ex through essays and interview very well. Hope this helps!

Also if you have worked on your essays. There are still two months to get a good score.

yes I have heard of such examples too. I guess it’s a matter of self-belief on the overall profile and writing my essays well. Thanks guys for the insight.

I have one another doubt. So I’ll be completing 2 years of work experience in September, post which I’m planning to quit the company as I am unable to work there anymore. I don’t have any concrete plans as to what I’ll be doing till April-June 2024, but the idea is to maybe take out a few months, and then start a normal job in December 2023 just to fill out the gap.

In this case, should I apply for EEO or PGP?

Hi

Are therea any active alums here

If yes, what time range are you active

Sentence correction - your basics should be solid.

Go only according to the grammar rules and not your gut

Re: Calling all ISB PGP Applicants: 2024 Intake Class of 2025 [#permalink]
Kind of sam query i have. I have all over 3.6 years exp and I have decided to quit my job this month only to prep full time as my GMAT date is 19th of August.
I have been to multiple startups and edtech giants for Sales roles, unable to study with this workload bothers me very much. So, what wound the ideal scenario post GMAT?
Can I focus on full time job again back to statups and complete the application process smoothly?

Kindly guide someone

Sometimes my accuracy in CR is 80% and sometimes it’s not even 50%. Can someone tell me where I am doing wrong?

Hey shobit, not that i’ve cracked it just yet, but maybe identify a pattern in the pool of questionss you’re going wrong in and try mastering that subset. I keep doing that.

patterns like, difficulty level, type of question, and source matter too!

I’ve gone wrong consistently in E-gmat and magoosh questions for a couple of weeks straight. because i was not used to it’s style of writing. Maybe i am wrong, but i find their writing style a bit different from the OG questions.

Thanks for the insights. I have been practicing from OG, GMAT club and Manhattan. The style is similar but I don’t know where it goes wrong. I think I need to find the pattern.

Another question is the actual GMAT tougher than mocks particularly mgmat mocks?

M-gmat is accurate for verbal, but i dont think it’s the same with its verbal section. apparently at Q44 in mgmat mock is reflective of Q49-50 in the actual exam.

Official mocks are the most accurate

So the Mgmat questions are tougher than the actual GMAT? Does it follow the same style of questions tho?
