I was going through last year's ISB forum. I can see many waitlists. This seems odd.

I was going through last year’s ISB forum. I can see many waitlists. This seems odd.
There were plenty of rejections too 
The only "trend" I remember from last year’s ISB R1, is that on the day they released the results (which as others have called out, was already delayed into the evening/night), the emails seem to have been rolling out in this order : Accepted -> Waitlisted -> Rejected. Those of us who hadn’t received an email by the time others got their emails, were nearly always heading towards a rejection email at the very tail end.
