Also , what range of GMAT score should we get to be eligible? I saw the average is above 700
720+ should be a good score to target (slightly higher for OR)

Hi folks, I have one doubt regarding the LOR for ISB application. How does the process look like exactly?
Do we need to fill our application along with recommender details a few days before the deadline? (so that recommender submits the form by deadline) OR can they submit the form even after the deadline?

Also, how does the form look like? Are these standard questions which we can provide some details to our recommenders before hand, or will they need to fill it within a stipulated time (without communicating with us)

Your recommender will receive the email after you enter his/her information in the online application and submit it for sending the recommendation form. You can send the recommendation request while the application is in progress and not yet submitted.

In the past, ISB has given the recommender about 4-5 days leeway to submit the recommendation after the deadline. However, I strongly recommend that you work with your recommender and try to submit the recommendation by the deadline.
ISB is one of the schools that has converged to the GMAC Common LOR format, which includes a standardized set of questions to simplify the process for recommenders who are recommending the same applicant to multiple business schools (globally).

You can also check out the recommendation questions on GMAC’s link here (Section 3).

The effort to improve your GMAT score is worth the opportunities and benefits you will gain from an MBA program for your professional career. Determine how you can improve your score in specific sections and where the biggest gaps are.

You have some good points in your application, but unless you improve your GMAT, no amount of storytelling will compensate. An MBA is, after all, an academically rigorous and analytical program, and adcoms are concerned that some applicants may not be able to sail through without difficulty.

Get personalized advice tailored to your specific situation. Do not hesitate to reach out to us if you need help navigating your unique circumstances in the B School admissions process.

So much potential Reddit , but what's going on with the Quant score? Perhaps an anomaly.. give your best again.
Aim for a strong score or atleast a solid Q49. ISB will be seeking reasons to accept you rather than reject you. You are a pre-tested high-potential candidate with prior business (and finance) exposure. The key to securing the admission now lies in effectively managing the GMAT, application and interview process.
