@Aanchal Sahni, I am trying to appear for GRE now. If I bring a high score in GRE, will it matter then whether I am applying through the GMAT or the GRE route? BTW, I cancelled my 620 GMAT score because I didn’t want to put a dent on my profile. I was going to reinstate it, but looks like GRE would be better for me. What do you suggest?
Yes
rajshreeasatiGo with the exam you feel would best showcase your abilities. Even if you cannot break my recommended 328 mark, you should try to get a solid score on the quantitative section of the GRE (168 or above would be fantastic). GRE requires much higher calculative precision on the quantitative section than the GMAT due to the nature of the exam, so a high score on the quantitative section can really help your application. Unlike the GMAT, where the verbal section also emphasizes logic, the verbal section of the GRE focuses more on vocabulary variety, which frankly B-schools do not care that much about as long as you can demonstrate your good command of conversational English).

[email protected]Dear ISB aspirantsWith little over two weeks until the ISB deadlines, now is a good time to assess your preparation for the ISB PGP application. While showcasing your accomplishments is important, it is even more important to explain what you have learned from your experiences and how you have grown professionally and personally. Occasionally, the help of a mentor may be required to navigate your experiences effectively, bringing to light your leadership characteristics and future potential, traits highly sought after by Business Schools.
