Hi everyone,
taking a lot of courage to write this up.

So giving my background(female - i've heard the gender ratio is good there):
Arts background - Tier one College - 7.5cgpa (considered good)
Currently in the hospitaly industry.
My current experience is 20months. Will complete 2 years in Feb. So exactly at 25months on the date till which exp will be counted.

I got my profile evaluated by a few sources and some said it is good, some said not possible because i am just on th borderline of the work ex.

- not sure which program should i choose. I am open on dropping my job at any time. Only doing it for the work-ex rn.

- what score should i be looking at? i am currently struggling with 500. This is very low and i am aware of.

Hi everyone,
I was checking different scholarship listed for ISB PGP. All of them have requirements - family income or particular background etc. There is one Type which is "Vidula Jalan Scholarship" - this doesn’t have any specific requirement mention but we need to write an essay for it.
Do anybody know if there is any specific requirement for this. I am confused because It is also mentioned that merit based scholarship are considered and we don’t have to apply.

For ISB - you can look at the standard one year program. The score is the biggest issue - anything over 665 will be competitive. Your work-ex is on the under-represented side in a ususal MBA program so that will be a good thing imo

Hi anu12345678765,

You will have to choose the PGP with 25 months of experience - there is no option per se. So, yes, it makes sense for you to garner an additional year of work experience and score well on the GMAT before applying.

All the best!

Hello,
Im eligible for both the PGP and PGP Pro programmes. What does the community think about both and how to proceed? I don’t have much leadership experience at work yet (1 year of experience managing interns previously) but will complete 5 years of experience in June which makes me eligible for PGP Pro
You should apply for PGP if you wish to benefit from the placement process. The Pro course is suitable when you are in a job where you wish to grow without leaving it, and you require a management degree to go up the ladder.

Also, since the cost of both program are pretty close and your experience is suitable for PGP then I would suggest to go for PGP if it benefits you in ways more than just getting a good degree from a good school with good education.

However, I suggested a candidate to go for PGP pro because he is working in Adobe as product manager at a package touching 40 lacs per annum (with much of cash benefit than just a variable component of CTC). His company is financing about 10 lacs per annum for the program and his boss is already a PGP pro alumni who is happy to recommend him for this program. If you too are a case close tot his then go ahead for PGP Pro
