1. Education-
- 10 ISCE Board 87.6%
- 12 ISC Board 86.5%
- Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Finance and Accountancy having 5.6 CGPA
- Chartered Accountant by profession
2. Work Experience
- Salarpuria Jajodia & Co (Kolkata), three years (2019 to 2022) of full time article ship mandatory for Chartered Accountants having experience in Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, Statutory Audit, C&AG Audit, Tax Audit and GST Audit for Listed, Publicly unlisted and Private Companies.
- Ernst and Young LLP (Mumbai), 21 months (April 24 to Jan 26) full time experience in the filed of Corporate Taxation, which was a client facing role. Assisted in GIFT City Setup, Day to day litigation and representations before Department and ITAT, Day to Day operational work like TDS Returns, SFT Returns and Income tax returns. Assisting, in waterfall distribution of the funds. Advising client regarding PE risks and preparing multiple memos for ease of doing business.

aparnaaeri No problem, happy to comment again. I am getting a sense that you are very passionate about design and product visualization. You also have a family business background as a safety net(i hope).
I do not know you personally, but if you feel you are good at your work, take your time and build a solid client portfolio to showcase. This way, you will not feel that you did not give yourself a chance. But also know well your reasons for applying to ISB (whenever you apply).
The PGP, or an MBA, is a business course, and post-MBA employability is one of the key evaluation criteria, even if the schools do not mention that explicitly. Keep a realistic view of where you want to go with your creative design freelancing business combined with your family business experience, if you continue down that path. Think from the college official's POV and also from that of the recruiters who come to ISB to hire for established corporate career pipelines. Try to understand how they evaluate applicants' backgrounds and identify the right fit for profiles in marketing or brand management roles. These roles, at least in established companies, are more focused on analytical research and insights, while the more creative aspects are generally outsourced to agencies in media and advertising. You may venture into that space if the creative side appeals to you more, but in that case, an MBA is unlikely to add much value unless you first build meaningful managerial and business responsibilities around that work.
So, my friend, you really need to do a lot of research and introspection on your own about what you want to do. There is not enough room on this thread to discuss all the possibilities. In any case you may reach out personally for advice.
