Just did R2 interview at Kellogg. Not sure what to make of it at all.
Couldn't read the guy at all :/

Did you meet with an alumnus or admissions officer? Any curveball questions?
My interview is tomorrow The thing that makes me nervous about this interview is that the alumni interviewers aren't necessarily trained so the experiences could completely vary from person to person.

That is true. My interviewer is just too casual, and I have no idea what he will write about me.

I met an alum at the admissions office. He graduated 2013. Honestly, he was pretty thorough with his questions. I realized the below are very important questions for Kellogg:
1. Why Kellogg? 2. Long and short term goals 3. walk over your resume 4. why mba now. why do you think you are better than the other candidates 5. what would you like me to tell admissions
For people who have already interviewed - what did you and your interviewer wear? I'm meeting my interviewer at a coffee shop so I'm wondering if a suit is overdressed or if business casual is fine.

I wore a suit - I guess its the safe option. I also met my interviewer at a Starbucks and he turned up in casuals. But you never know - I have had some alums (Kellogg and other schools) tell me that they 'expect' candidates to turn up in suits.
I wore what I'd call "smart casual" - slacks, a nice blouse, heels - and it was perfect. My interviewer was a bit more casual than I, but that's definitely better than the reverse.
I'm not a pant suit person at all (probably the biggest adjustment I will have to make in bschool ) so I wore a midsleeved black dress from Loft, tights and ankle boots. My interviewer was dressed pretty casually.

Just don't wear jeans and you'll be fine.

I wore a sweater and work pants with high heels. Seemed to work fine, that's how I usually dress at work anyways.
