I'm a woman and I STILL got the recall! I think there was a mixup with the time on the invite. They sent out an updated one...but funnily (yes, that's a word :-D ) The last sentence of the invite still has a grammatical error.

I interviewed at the end of last month, but I registered anyway!

I think it's worth going to even if you already interviewed. I went to the one in LA recently, and it was a mix of people who were already accepted in R1, and those who had and hadn't interviewed in R2. If they keep the same format, it's a mostly unstructured gathering where you'll the opportunity to chat with other prospective students and alumnae.

Based on last year's results, R2 admit offers could come as early as ~March 5 and continue to trickle out til the published notification date of March 29. Date of interview shouldn't really affect anything unless you interview in mid or late March, which would obviously delay their ability to tell you you're admitted.

I have been sitting on an interview waiver for a couple of weeks now (Submitted Part 1: 12/13; Part 2: 1/1). I am sure there's a ton of people in the same position but I cant help but wonder by what date should start to worry if I dont have an interview invite by then.

Am in the same boat.

I see a few people above having received interview invites after initially being waived. It'll be great if you all can share your stats, including present country of residence. Am from India, and am wondering if Indian applicants have started receiving invites after waivers.

Thanks a lot!

Mandy

Hi Mandy, I got an interview waiver too. And so did my friend. Most people who applied from India did. My stats are GMAT - 720/6.5 workex in Big4/CA. Share yours.

Hmm, I didn't get an email but I see the following status. I completed my interview last week.

https://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/Programs/FullTimeMBA/TakeAction/Check_Application_Status.aspx

All the required elements of your application are complete.

If your interview has been completed, the application has been submitted for review to the admissions committee. If your interview has not been conducted, the application will be submitted to the admissions committee upon completion of the interview. The next status check update will be the admission decision (Admit, Waitlist or Deny). When a decision has been rendered, the Office of Admissions will send you an email notifying you to check your status for your decision. Decisions will be released throughout the round, but the majority of decisions will be released during the last several weeks of the round.

I was sent an email for an interview with an alumni in the area. I've called him three times to no answer, and emailed him twice, and he only responded to my first email and nothing since. The interview email was 8 days ago.

Do you think I should contact the school to say that there has been no response? Or should I just wait it out until the two-week mark hits and then hit up the adcom for a new interview assignment?

Hmm...

Mine says following, and I completed my interview more than a month ago. Should I contact admission office?

We have received Part I of application.

After Part II of your application has been submitted and reviewed, the next update will confirm whether or not all application materials have been received. Due to the high volume of applications, please allow several weeks of processing time for us to verify that all required items are complete. We recommend that you check this site periodically for the next update to your application.

I have the same status. I submitted my Part II on 1/9. The email I got when I submitted said:

Dear Runnergirl,

You have submitted Part II of your application to the Kellogg School of Management Full-Time MBA Program.
To confirm receipt of your application materials and for notification of your application decision, please visit Check Application Status on the Kellogg Full-Time Admissions website.
Your application status should change within 1-4 weeks, during which time the admissions staff will process your application and verify receipt of all materials. Your status-check message will confirm if all requirements have been completed. If there are missing application requirements, these items will be listed on the status-check page.
We appreciate the time you have invested to complete your Kellogg application. We look forward to reviewing your materials.

Sincerely,

Kellogg Admissions Team

So I'd wait until after it's been at least 4 weeks since you submitted Part II to contact adcom.

I'd wait it out. There's no real need to rush the process, if you're doing everything you're supposed to on your end. It's early February, so there's still plenty of time. I don't think contacting the adcom before the stated two-week period is going to look good.
