thanks Jerz. You're right, I contact Admissions. I was just wondering if there were any other part-time applicants on this forum from outside the Chicago area, and what they did. BTW, I'm assuming this forum is for both part-timers and full-timers -- did not find a Kellogg part-time only forum.

To those who have applied, or are considering applying to the Kellogg Part-Time MBA program: Could you please help me with some information. I am located outside the greater Chicago area (on the West Coast actually), and I plan on applying to the Kellogg Saturday MBA program. I know an interview is required for application. From the web site it appears that an on-campus interview in Chicago is the only kind of interview that is permitted -- there is no option for an off-campus interview. Is this correct? I plan on scheduling a class visit later, but I due to a lot of upcoming travel, I would find it very difficult to travel to Chicago for an interview before the March 18th deadline for Round 1.
Is an off-campus interview possible for part-time applicants? Has anybody done that? What would you suggest I do? (I have lot of information about the program, having interacted with Kellogg part-time alums and having visited the campus informally a couple of years ago).
rg - the part-time program's application process is completely separate from the full-time program, so I'm not sure if there are off-campus interviews. Your best bet is to contact the admissions office and ask them whether you could schedule an interview in your current city.
Friend in Mumbai received a interview invite. She submitted her application a day before the R2 deadlines. Initially received a waiver but was later offered an interview with an alum
I saw there was a question about MMM applicants. I applied to MMM program on the last available day. Surprisingly, received an invite quite fast (beginning of January) and interviewed with an alum. I am an international applicant.
Please stop scratching your backside and send me the !@$@#$@!$ interview invite already!!! Aaarghhhh!! I have been sitting on an interview waiver for over a month now!!!
I hear you loud and clear as I sit in the same boat. People left and right have received interview invites and completed them. First I thought don't panic, then I checked my unchanged status and still no invites after the initial waiver. Initial cold comfort that not sufficient alumni in my region to do interviews was contradicted. I heard from a nearby applicant who had an alum interview. Grr, cruel fate.

I have an interview scheduled in a couple of days. My goal has changed a bit since the time I submitted my application.
I understand that the interviews are blind. Do I need to mention that my goal has changed slightly while answering the goals question or can I just talk about the new goal?
Would the interviewer/adcom be comparing the goal I stated in the interview vs the goal I wrote in the application.

I think that if you want to state different goals in the interview you should make sure to tell the alumni that your goals have slightly changed since you filed your application. Obviously you need to explain why as well. However, if I were you, I would try to be consistent with what I put in my goal essay imho.
hi... i've been following this thread for quite sometime now but posting today for the first time
quick question : had my interview with an alum few weeks back... i was of the understanding that kellogg aims to interview most people and waives it for others... so should i assume that it's a general prerequisite.. or are interview invites sent out to shortlisted candidates only (like other schools)?

Good luck)
