Hi, just joined the forum.
I am in for R1. Had my interview taken 3 weeks back by an alumni off-campus.
Interview went well, my application is complete and now am waiting for the results as well.

New message on the "Check Application Status" website confirming that my application is complete. Submitted it 10/17 and completed my interview the week prior. Next communication will be admit/deny...


All the required elements of your application are complete.

If your interview has been completed, the application has been submitted for review to the admissions committee. If your interview has not been conducted, the application will be submitted to the admissions committee upon completion of the interview. The next status check update will be the admission decision (Admit, Waitlist or Deny). When a decision has been determined, the Office of Admissions will send you an email notifying you to check your status for your decision. Application decisions may be released on or before the decision deadline, but the majority of decisions will be released during the last few weeks of the round.

Please note that applications are not necessarily reviewed in the order received, and the timing of one's decision is not an indicator of a candidate's strengths or weaknesses relative to others who applied in the same round.

Is this a bad sign...? I completed my interview three weeks ago, and have heard nothing from the school since then...

There is nothing to worry. I was in the same boat. I submitted Part II on Oct 4th and completed my interview on Oct 16. My status was changed only on Oct 28th. I think it is just sheer volume.

On a side note, does anyone know hot to confirm if the interviewer has submitted his/her feedback to adcom other than contacting him/her?

I have submitted the Part 2 on 18th October. I haven't got any interview invite yet! My application status says,
"After Part II of your application has been submitted, the next update will confirm whether or not all application materials have been received. Due to the high volume of applications that are submitted near the application deadline, please allow several weeks of process time for our staff to match all materials and to verify all required items have been received. "

Is anyone who has opted for Off campus interview on the same boat?

Maybe you guys are going to get direct phone interview invites!!! Hope for the best guys. Else, an interview waiver is sure to come your way nonetheless. I think its more to do with application volume and where yours sits within that, than anything else.

My status changed to all materials have been collected 1 day before the interview. Finished the interview in China, actually the interview was quite good. Now waiting for the result. Good luck to all applicants!

No offense meant but try to be a little positive. From what I am seeing almost all the Indian Applicants on gmatclub, barring a couple, have received waivers. Seeing some of their profiles I doubt Kellogg will ding everyone. So just take a deep breathe, calm down. No point in losing hope so early in the game.
