I read the 2014 thread on waitlist and found that decisions were released on a rolling basis, was it true for R 1 waitlisters as well ? can anyone throw some light into this

That's a loaded question! It depends on how you define "better" and in which capacity? Each school has its merits and both offer trade-offs to their programs. It all depends on what you're looking for in an MBA. I'd suggest posting in the Admitted-Which School to Attend? section of the forum. Personally though, if I had an offer from Sloan, I'd just take it. Sloan's an amazing school IMHO and for me I could get to where I'm looking to go from there. And Boston/Cambridge is a great city as well! By the way, anyone else from R1 get an update yet?
