freaked out cause Columbia tried to get me into the executive MBA prior to dinging me from the 2 year.......strange.

This is what I'm afraid of too. R2 applicant here. 32+ years by the time of admission. Worried cos of the age factor.

R1 deposits are due tomorrow. I think that this may be the first catalyst for the AdCom to at least look at the waitlist again. What does everyone else think?

I concur. But also keep in mind, they have the R2 applicants to consider and possibly use to fill in spots.

I think for a good portion of us, our best bet to hearing something will be around March 25th (R2 decisions).

Looking forward to hearing something, but won't hold my breath for another month or so...

I think its been determined that "rolling" is a misnomer and that decisions will come with R2 and R3 decisions.

Yes, you're right. Without WL managers this year, it's almost impossible to say if the WL will be managed in the same fashion that it was done in the past. I think March 25th is a good date to look forward to.

Has anyone written to the Adcom asking about tentative dates for decision ? Do they give feedback on emails ? With no WL manager this year, the wait is seeming like an endless journey ....

They very specifically said they will not be offering feedback this year and that notification will come on the r2 and r3 decision dates

How's everyone holding up? I was going through the waitlist FAQ:

Shortly after each decision deadline, a waitlist candidate can expect to hear from the committee with either a final admit/deny decision or an invitation to remain on our waitlist into the following round(s).

This means we may not necessarily hear back on the 25th with a final admit/ deny or an invitation to continue on the waitlist! sigh...

Wow, I got nothing. Did you provide an update at all since being waitlisted? I provided one, but that's it. No response or acknowledgement from admissions.

It's been dead quiet over here... :dunnow

At this point I think everything is just a lot of speculation. After the call I started psyching myself out by thinking of all of the things that I could have said. Even worse, I thought maybe they were calling all of the people they were going to drop off the waitlist before dropping them. There is no way of really knowing. But we will all find out soon enough. Just be prepared for a call from Kellogg.
