In the payment page:

There is a fee of £185 GBP to apply for this course. This is not the same as the fee for the course itself.

Seriously? Wow.

indeed the page says ..
There is a fee of £185 GBP to apply for this course. This is not the same as the fee for the course itself. Your application will not be processed until you pay the fee.

Though time and again it has been advised to not wait until the last moment to submit the application, I did wait. And, to my surprise I faced no problem!
It took like 1 hour of multiple proof readings (I know I should have completed them long back, but few more wouldn't have harmed)...
but only less than a minute for real submission and 1 minute for payment.. woohoo!!
it took more than 5 minutes to make payment for IMD's app ..!!
Anyway .. gotta wait until the end of the month ..
lucky I have Tuck and Duke to company me until Oct 20 .. :)

Hahaha.. better safe than sorry. Maybe there's some interesting story when some applicant thought this was the entire fee.

Submitted.

By the way, in the application fee confirmation mail, I noticed that my reference number / Online application ID : XXXX - Last Name/First Name (yz)

I dont know, but I think that this number yz could mean that I was the yz(th) person to submit the application? If that's so then the number of applicants seem to be seriously low.

Could anyone confirm if their "number" is in a close range to mine? My number was close to 45.

Mine's 38 too! Seems pretty random now. This is the beauty of MBA applications, makes you want to speculate every random thing till you pull your hair out!

Just submitted my app too. Even several rounds of proof-reading, I am sure there must be something I might have missed. Anyway, not thinking about it now. Weekend/Relaxation time now.

Thanks for the warm welcome neo365. I also went through the link "Odds of meeting your spouse at MBA" that is highlighted in your signature. Honestly, this is one of the funniest threads I have ever read. Too good!
