Hi, does somebody know what is the role of the admission manager and who is responible for taking decisions (i.e., who is that actually review the application and take the decision). Moreover, what is the difference between admission manager and admission committee?

on the fb group 260 seats have been assigned. assuming that other 130 will be assigned today (r3 is as competitive as r1 and r2) only 10/20 will be left for r4

if the competition is the same, then it will also depend on the number of applicants..

what I meant is that, from what I read, the number of applicants and therefore admitted is similar in the first three rounds

If LBS is not at all different from other schools, the admissions manager assigned to you is the person who is in charge of all contact with you - clarifying information, asking for additional data, giving you an admit call, helping you with scholarship queries, etc. The admissions committee is the group that meets, decides the makeup of the class, and essentially decides your fate.

TLDR: Ad comm is responsible for the decisions. Ad Manager is a liaison between applicant and admissions office.

and then if i select "show application" I have "status" (submitted) and the date of "last viewed"
