Did you receive an email with a request to do the interview?

You get invited to complete the video essays after you are invited for interview. That will have a different deadline in the future.

It is one of the most important submissions for your application. Please make sure it is genuinely written by your recommender and also submitted by them on the portal within the deadline.

I am not asking about recommenders. There is seperate question which asks "If an LBS alumnus or student has completed a recommendation form for you, please name them here" I am assuming this beyond the recommendation which we have to receive from current or previous employer Please correct i am wrong

You are right, apologies I read it wrong So an alumni recommendation does help with the process. So if you can score a recommendation from an alumni, that’ll definitely help with the application The said recommender will have to write to the admissions team and they will send a separate form to the individual, it has 3-4 questions which they have to fill out and send to the admissions team. This activity does not need to be completed within the deadline but should be done as early as possible
