Dont you think its a bit early to comment on it!! Invites may still roll out! We have just one example infront of us & seeing the proportion of memebrts on GC i strongly feel that we would have come across another OTM invite, but we haven't. So my suggestion would be to not lose hope buddy! We might still make the cut! :)

Yea he is definatly right man, its still really early in the app process! so i wouldn't give up yet, especially if you have a 720! thats a solid score at any school.

Just finished with my skype interview (MBA in marketing research) with Kristin Branch. Below are the highlights and questions asked!
- Started 20 min. late, lasted close to 45 minutes as promised
- There was a connection problem at her end and it was practically an audio interview
- Questions:
1. Tell me about yourself
2. Specific question about my profile (moving offices)
3. Why MBA at this time
4. Short term long term goals
5. 1 Leadership experience
6. Working country preference
7. Conflict with the manager
8. Example of the marketing impact in the real world
9. Asked if I had any questions
10. 4 terms that your peers would use to describe you

Overall, it went okay minus the technical glitches and was mostly conversational. Feel free to reach out if you have any specific questions.

The wait begins!

Im curious what a good response to the "why now" question is. Is it a weak reason to say that I want an MBA now because I am tired of waiting to get ahead in my career? What do most people say to this?

I did not really understand what credential this univ consider while deciding invites. We learned that gmat is not the first one in this process. But what else, work exp? I have 6 years, Education? I have a graduate degree in SCM. I think the most inportant think they consider your career expectations as far as i understood because i declared in my essay to be a consultant but this school is good at finding jobs to its Graduates in consumer goods industry, mostly. So, they did not want to lose time with me. I think this is the reason. Because i can not find any other reason despite long hours thinking about it...

I think its futile waiting now... the final results are supposed to come on dec 9 if we havent got a call by now i dont see it happening next week...consider it a ding... :cry:
