I submitted my application yesterday and I noticed some issues with the PDF as well. My pdf application was labeled as FALL 2014 (but definitely chose applying for FALL 2015 in the system since that was the only option!), so some of the dates in it were wrong (like saying class began Sept. 1 2014) and I also noticed my short and long term text was missing from the pdf. I went through all my answers in the system and made sure I followed the directions and just decided that they haven't updated whatever system pulls the data into the pdf.

Bad news is reserved for the end. Such is the law of this game at every school

Hey Guys, I submitted my application on 10th Oct. But wasnt able to submit the recos by that time. I have contacted my recommenders and they have confirmed me that they will submit in next two days. So, will that be an issue while reviewing and will my application be considere for the first round. I have mailed the admissions office about this situation but haven't got any reply till now. Please provide your suggestions. Thanks

Shouldnt be an issue. My reco submitted it two days late. Now it shows as submitted, so i dont foresee an issue

I received an email with the subject "Georgetown MBA Important Update." I got really excited but it was only a link to a website to track my status.

Haha, exactly! It was certainly a let down - was hoping for an interview invite. However, I am not sure how your reasoning led you to surmising that this is representative of a future "DING?" Definitely think you are overreacting. Good to know someone worries more than me haha. I received a very similar email from another program and subsequently received an invite (and I am not talking about Tepper if your looking at my profile). In fact many of the programs I have applied to sent a follow up email saying something along the lines of "all your application materials have been collected--thank you etc." Georgetown seems to have unique Application Statuses such as ""Incomplete - ready for review - unofficial." And this email tried to explain those statuses a bit. Lets hope you are wrong. Anyone else receive a similar email?

Hmm...I didn't receive that e-mail, now how am I supposed to track my status and obsessively refresh the page every 10 minutes??? Seriously though, didn't anyone else NOT receive that e-mail? All I got was a confirmation e-mail that my application was submitted.

All it is is an "Application Status Check" email. When you log into your account they add a new tab that allows you to see your status (if all docs are submitted etc). NYU does something very similar. Emory sends a completely new website with new login information.
