so it seems that they really gave all money out in round one, and nobody gets a dime in round two just like last year...

I was fortunate enough to be offered a 1/2 tuition scholarship. So there was some money for round 2. Just so everyone knows, this information was included in my acceptance information. I will not be matriculating, not sure if that scholarship money gets back into the pool or not.

Congrats on the scholarship. Did they include this info in your acceptance email? or did this come after in a more formal correspondence?

Yes it was included in the acceptance email.

Thanks for your info. I'm surprised that you would take Kenan-Flagler over Ross, but big congrats on the scholorship!

Hi fengfenglee, I was offered a full scholarship to kenan which to me made the difference. I feel $90k less debt at graduation is worth it over Ross. I am confident I can create my own job search, hence the flexibility.

I just got the Welcome to Georgetown email with the standard text. Bummer for some reason the Hobsons thing is down so I can't access the Facebook group.

The acceptance letter says, the acceptance / welcome packet comes with a "gift". For those R1 admits on this thread, what is it?? A friend who applied to MSB last year said it was a thumb drive.

Financing startup. Basically relies on investors / alumni of the same school to finance incoming students. I heard that It's supposed to be cheaper than traditional financing?

With a 4.0 GPA and a 315 GRE, I would tend to think McDonough would want to see something that's not academic. Maybe like something community related or extra curricular?
