Hi, I am a reapplicant with 700 GMAT score, got waitlisted again this year. I have professional experience of about 4 years with a Big 4 in Audit assurance practice and recently added a promotion and International experience to my profile. I completed my B.com Hons from Delhi University with a 7.07/10 CGPA. Can anyone please advice what to do to upgrade my profile to convert to an Admit?

Hey Utkarsh, I’m a reapplicant who was interviewed both times as well. Was waitlisted in R2 of last year but converted now in R1. I improved my GMAT from 710 to 740 and got better professional experience as well. GMAT is probably the best way to convert the waitlist into an admit.

Very personal thing in my opinion - both happen to test slightly different things on verbal section at least! I am assuming you’ll start GRE prep from scratch and that might be time consuming - best bet is to increase gmat score. What was your quant and verbal scores in GMAT?

Then aim to increase Quant to 50 or 51 and you’ll be 730 already

Was your verbal 37 best ever score and you think you scored that 37 when in peak form

Still I’ll say almost best ever - cause 1-2 point here and there is always possible. Do a focussed and rigorous verbal practice - check which secition is weakest and also CHECK YOUR MOCK or EXAM DAY STRATEGY during verbal section? are you leaving any questions? are you doing silly mistakes? And definitely, aim to have quant score no less than 50 caus that is your strongest area

I’m not sure about a fee waiver but I think you get a fee reduction if you attend their information session
