ragheebMBA - this would depend on the scale/ scope of the business and your role. However, some quick tips:
- Avoid family members for LoRs
- Pick recommenders who you've worked with closely and for a reasonable amount of time. This could be clients, vendors, suppliers, board members, or any stakeholders who you did business with (or reported to).
- Make sure the recommenders provide specific examples highlighting your work and professional/ personal traits. Also have a conversation with them about your career goals, why you're pursuing an MBA etc. as this can help them thematically align their pointers with what you write on CV/ essays, etc.
