Yeah, mine usually come an hour or more after someone posts about them here. I'm sure that means I'm getting dinged :wink: At least it means I'm prepared for an anticlimactic email from MIT to hit my inbox!

I wouldn't read too much into the timing. I get these e-mails to two accounts because I used one e-mail account when I took the GMAT in 2007 and another when I applied this year. The GMAT e-mail account has been on their mailing list since '07 and always gets the MIT e-mail an hour after my applicant e-mail account. Probably just a server/distribution list issue.

Oh, I wasn't really reading into the timing; but it always gives me false hope that a different email is just lagging because of servers.

Has anyone heard of someone from the SF Bay Area getting an invite? With HBS, GSB, Kellogg, and Wharton decisions all out this week, getting invited to interview by MIT is a bit anticlimactic!
