Hello everyone, I am posting first time on this group. I am also admitted in R2 for Sloan Fellows. Congratulations to all who made it and all the best to everyone who is on waitlist or will be applying again. Hope to see you all soon.

Does anyone have any idea about scholarship / fellowship? When will MIT inform if we got one? And did admission officer mention anything about it in your calls?

Also another question I have is - what is your thought on 2 months virtual session?

Hi Kumar,

Those are valid questions,
I pondered on the same for several hours last night.

I must admit that 2 months virtual studies does complicates things a bit, especially if you're an international student with visas, etc.

I have similar questions about funding, perhaps we can deepen this conversation together with an R1 admit.

I am happy to connect with you.

From what I could tell in the Fellowship section of the AdMIT website, it appears that any fellowship would have been included in your letter of acceptance.

As for the two months of virtual. I think that it will still be effective, but certainly not ideal for the folks that are having to get visas and move to Cambridge/Boston. The downside that I see is if regular classes aren’t able to be in person in August.

So does it mean we will not know anything about scholarship before we accept offer with deposit fee?

Hello All.

I got the call yesterday; it was the same AdCom member who conducted my interview. She said some very kind things. I'm profoundly humbled.

I've been lurking on here for a couple of months, and wanted to offer my thanks to everyone on this forum for the very helpful data points.

Congratulations to those who've been accepted. And to those that weren't, remember that everything happens for a reason - never stop pursuing your dreams!

Really looking forward to getting to know other members of the SFMBA Class of 2022!

Anyone who had applied for round 3 got a date from the AdCom for the interview invitation? I received an email that acknowledged my application but only said such date would be March _, 2021. Not sure if its an error or what to make of the blank..

Welcome to the forums. I also advise you to reach out to a few current students on LinkedIn and maybe the admissions committee in their info sessions etc. Did you reach out to them already?

March 10th was the deadline for R3 applicants for interviews. I interviewed yesterday so crossing my fingers! Good luck everyone and congratulations to the admits. I was told decisions would go out on 3/31.
