Hi Folks,

Wanted to check if I can apply for a GMAT waiver for R2 at Sloan?
I had taken the GMAT in early December 2021 but did not get a good enough score to showcase it. The problem is that MIT Sloan was one of the 5 schools I had sent my score to. So, it shows up on my profile during application.

Do you think applying for a waiver will still be possible based on academic credentials and work experience? Please advise.

ss085, MIT Sloan has most sorted admission process. They already inform well in advance interview invites date and final decision dates.

You may wanna check on MIT’s website these dates.

Is it true that MIT only takes applicants with good ungergrad CGPA? My GMAT is good but undergrad CGPA is low. Should I even bother applying?

For getting into top programs you definately need good overall profile. But you can always contact the admission department, join events or talk with mba students currently in the college to get some insights on this topic. Also you can mention reason for low cgpa in your essay while submitting application too.
